Here is a drawing to show the interaction between the Decide and Apply
Probably mean state rather than stale? :-)
I almost draw the exact same diagram while trying to explain event
Just I'm not using the same vocabulary.
I don't say command but event (I want to record the business event that
occurred in the real world)
I don't use the verb decide but the noun rules (decide with business rules
The output is not events but consequences (only consequences change the state
of the system)
And I don't use the verb apply but the noun model (or model state)
To me the vocabulary around event sourcing is still confusing. "Event
sourcing" itself has just no meaning, a better name is needed.
@james> Yep, state. I'll try to fix it soon :/
@aurelien> But when do you source then ? Events or Consequences ?
